Paying your rent?
When you start your tenancy, you will receive an Allpay payment card, you can pay rent with your card at the Post Office or anywhere you see a PayPoint sign.
Alternatively you can pay online at www.allpay.net or by downloading the Allpay app to your smartphone. We can also set up a Direct Debit from your bank account, either weekly or monthly, or you can pay by cash or cheque at our office.
Your rent is due a week in advance. We will send you a rent statement quarterly but you can log on to MyTenancy here to check your current balance and payment record at any time.
Depending where you live, you may pay a service charge in addition to your rent. This covers things such as cleaning of communal areas and maintenance of common areas, such as car parks or grassy areas. The service charge is given on your tenancy agreement and we provide you with a separate schedule of the services you are paying for, how much they cost and the work you can expect to be carried out.
Most Colne residents pay water charges direct to the water provider. However, in a small number of our properties the water charges are included in the rent. If this applies to you the amount you pay is shown on your tenancy agreement. If you receive full Housing Benefit please be aware the payment does not include your water charges.

What happens if I end my tenancy and I owe rent?
We will contact you about the debt and ask that you make arrangements to pay it off. We may still take court action to recover the debt, even if you are no longer a Colne resident.
